Fordham University Halftime

From the South Bronx to Rose Hill Gymnasium. February 21, 2026 · Fordham University, Bronx, NY

The Haus of Performing Arts made its first-ever college experience, not as students on a tour, but as halftime performers on a college basketball court.

On February 21st, 12 Haus students and Haus Alumni Alicia Patter (17) took the floor at Rose Hill Gymnasium at Fordham University and performed to Dale, an original Haus song. They didn't come to observe. They came to perform, and they delivered. The students had an amazing time and were in tears of excitement after performing.

We want to extend our deepest gratitude to Fordham University for seeing our students, their talent, their potential, and their joy, and welcoming them into your space. That kind of recognition means everything to young people from the South Bronx. Many students spend their entire childhood performing in school auditoriums. The Haus is committed to something bigger: giving our children experiences that show them how far effort and teamwork can take them.

We also want to honor our parent chaperones who showed up for this momentous occasion. Your belief in your children, the joy and optimism your kids carry every day, that is what makes this work worth doing. Thank you for trusting us with them.

Fordham University, we hope to be invited back next season. 🤝

With love and pride, The Haus of Performing Arts
