HAUS CORE VALUES

The Haus of Performing Arts After School embraces the foundational principles of our parent company, The Haus NYC, ensuring a nurturing environment for our young performers. Our core values, spelled out by the acronym HAUS, reflect our commitment to the holistic development of our students:

The HAUS curriculum

Tailored Learning at Every Age

Our program is tailored to three distinct age groups: 6-7, 8-9, and 10-12. Each cohort follows a rotating schedule designed to provide a diverse and enriching learning experience.

Following a dedicated homework hour, students engage in a structured curriculum consisting of dance, acting/vocal training, and recreation activities.

For our youngest learners aged 6-7, the schedule includes creative expression sessions alongside dance and singing classes, ensuring a balanced mix of structured and expressive activities.

The HAUS Specialty Classes

FUSION DANCE CLASS

Fusion includes but limited to:

Jazz, Salsa, Hip Hop, Ballet

Dance classes, spanning an hour and a half, adopt a unique "Fusion Style" approach. Our instructors, proficient in multiple dance styles, craft dynamic choreography to expose students to a variety of techniques, fostering both challenge and growth tailored to individual abilities.

ACTING & Vocal

All Ages

Acting and vocal classes are centered on vocal training complemented by theatrical performances. Beginning with introductory sessions on vocals, acting, and improv, instructors then adapt the curriculum to students' interests and talents, culminating in creative showcases.

Creative Expression

Ages 6-7

Creative expression sessions provide younger students with outlets for artistic exploration, rotating between improv, writing/drawing, and storytelling to nurture self-expression and creativity.
