HAUS EVENTS
Original Music, '24
Creating original music came from 6 year old who said, "we should have our own music. All my class want to dance to the same song".
Teaching artist Sarah and Jenifer who teaching voice and music production began working with the students and that's how the song was came to life.
The idea was to have it be kids bop meets Broadway. Something that was safe and an easy go to performance number. We will perform the number in June 2025.
NYFW & Lacoste, '23
Lacoste wrote us in 2023 to be choreograph and produce their entertainment portion of the event. Reopening the St. Mary's Park Tennis Court with Venus Williams.
30 Students were able to participate in the event in different capacities from performing to behind the scenes work.
Mystery DINNER, '24
As explained in the video, I wrote a Mystery Story to engage all of our students as I learned mmany of our students were avid readers and were nervous about performing.
This activity encouraged the children to solve riddles and work together to solve the myster of Who Stole Magic from Magic Kingdom.
At this point many of the students were still new and didn't know each other. This was a great bonding experience for them.
